

My favorite are the Dive Bomber Push-ups. This will probably be more push-ups and pull-ups than you’ve ever done in a single sitting. Got me a little nervous, I’ve been in shape before (a really long time ago) but come on… really Tony? You do 2 rounds of 12 different exercises but you flip-flop your start exercise (chest/back, back/chest) in the second round. This was my day one introduction to P90X and I must say that my shower afterward didn’t include much hair washing… I couldn’t get my arms above my waist, let’s say they were a bit “floppy”. CLASSIC TRACK Weeks 1-3 – Fat Shredderĭay 1 | P90X – Disc 01 | Chest and Back (53 min) To make a long story short, lean basically replaces Plyometrics with Cardio X, and doubles has you doing Cardio X in the morning and classic in the evening. P90X has three tracks of workouts lean, classic, and doubles. You can definitely hit pause and do more if you need to. Each DVD has at least 6 minutes of warm up on the front end and at least 4 minutes of cool down on the back-end.


I’m going to break down the time commitment and a brief description of each DVD routine. What you talkin’ ’bout Willis! I was shocked but guess what, it worked. To give you an example, I started at 210 pounds and they recommended I eat 3,000 calories a day. The nutrition guide has 3 levels based upon a simple calculation they provide. Believe it or not, P90X has you eating more calories instead of less like all the other quick fix programs have you doing. I highly, highly, highly (get the point?) recommend you follow the nutrition guide throughout the next 90 days, it will keep your body fueled with the right amount of good stuff to allow your body to recover. I have recently completed my first P90X round and needless to say I’m in the best shape of my life. 12 heart pumping, muscle building exercises continue to keep mind and body guessing as to what’s coming next.
